COVID-19

Firstly, we would like to thank everyone for your support. We have reached out to our speakers and sponsors, (as without them we can’t deliver the event), and based on their feedback we no longer believe that we can deliver a safe face to face event. Ultimately we want to maintain your safety and we have come to this difficult decision.

This year London’s Calling will be a Virtual Experience on Friday 20 March 2020.

Over the weekend the London’s Calling team will be finalising the virtual plans and we will communicate how you can join in with us on the day.
We are still planning to provide you with all the great content, the mighty Demo Jam, words from our sponsors, competition prizes and much more.

We regret, we are unable to provide any refunds as per our Eventbrite refund policy. As volunteers, we have always been a non-profit with the sole purpose of delivering an event for the community.

Thank you for your patience and your continued support.

Francis, Kerry, Louise, Amanda, and Todd

We have made the decision that all attendees should complete a confirmation statement so we can better manage the risks of the event. This is comprised of a short online questionnaire. All attendees have been sent an email with details on how to complete the confirmation statement if you have not received the email please contact us at: [email protected]. If you do not complete the form please do not travel to the conference as we will unfortunately not be able to admit you.

We have been reviewing the contingency plans for the event and based on the current information the team has agreed that the event will be going ahead. We will continue to monitor the situation regularly.

At the time of writing, we have not received guidance that events of this size should not take place. The venue has assured us they are following the guidance from Public Health England (PHE) and the World Health Organisation (WHO) on the relevant protocols to prevent infections by increasing their cleaning regime and providing guidance to their staff.
