Do you want to know how to take advantage of an external data provider such as Google Places for building an application in Salesforce?
In the session I will explain how I have developed a prototype web application, which leverages the capability of Lightning Connect for showing nearby places from Google Places API in real time.

As Google Places API is a read-only one, the Site integrates the retrieved places with a voting system developed in Apex, and it is able to recommend new places to you based on your affinity with other users.
